We are looking for a motivated and analytical intern to join our Medical Excellence team for a 12-month internship. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, business, and technology within Medical Affairs.
In this role, you will support assigned projects across different Medical Excellence functions that help advance medical excellence and its positioning as a strategic partner within Medical & Regulatory and as a critical connector across the NNCI organization. The successful intern will partner with functions across Medical Affairs, including Omni-Channel & Engagement Excellence, Customer Care, Medical Education, and Medical Information, while supporting the team in elevating the role of data, technology, and systems to optimize how we reach and serve our customers.
Your new role
-
Support the development, maintenance, and rollout of data analytics tools across Medical & Regulatory.

Analyze healthcare professional learning needs, engagement channels, and digital performance metrics to identify trends and prepare summary reports for leadership review.

Deploy customer satisfaction surveys; monitor response rates and compile feedback data.

Assist in process mapping across Medical Excellence functions to document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.

Track project timelines, maintain action item logs, and coordinate meetings with vendors and internal teams.

Process invoices and track project budgets; maintain spending records and flag variances to project leads

Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights across Medical Affairs functions.

Prepare presentation materials that communicate data findings to Medical Excellence stakeholders.
Your skills & qualifications
-
Undergraduate degree in science, business, data science, statistics, public health, or related field (required); Master's degree or current enrollment in a graduate program is preferred.
-
Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik (required).

Experience with analytics and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Veeva (preferred).

Strong quantitative skills with experience managing datasets, building dashboards, and conducting analyses.

Ability to define KPIs, create clear visualizations, and extract actionable insights from complex data.
-
Project management experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and meeting deadlines.
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional team settings.

**Salary:**For this role the Annual Base Salary ranges from $56,850.00 - $85,280.00
The placement in the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on your skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience match the position requirements
