The Role . At Ria, we’re on a mission to make money transfer accessible, fast, and reliable for communities around the world. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager to lead and grow our agent network in the assigned territory. This role is a blend of business development, sales strategy execution, and team leadership.

Territory & Sales Development

  • Allocate your time strategically:

  • 30% to developing new agent business.

  • 50% to growing and supporting existing agents.

  • 20% to team management and administrative duties.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle: from prospecting and cold calling to face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and onboarding new agents.

  • Develop and manage a sustainable network of agents and correspondents to drive long-term growth.

Performance Analysis & Strategy Execution

  • Analyze market trends, agent performance, and internal reports to identify opportunities, reinforce successful strategies, and correct underperformance.
  • Create and execute strategic marketing and sales plans—both self-initiated and assigned—to grow transaction volumes and market share.
  • Make data-driven recommendations on product pricing and commission structures.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear targets and expectations, coach and mentor direct reports on sales techniques, strategies, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a culture of accountability and success.

Agent Support & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing agents.
  • Support agents with onboarding, training on our money remittance platform and compliance processes, and provide standard merchandising and POS materials.
  • Conduct regular field visits to provide hands-on training, monitor product performance, and strengthen agent engagement.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure agent compliance with all operational and regulatory policies.
  • Collect and relay marketplace and competitive insights to senior leadership to inform broader business strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales, territory development, and sales negotiation, preferably within the financial services or money transfer industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish—strong written and verbal communication required.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and manage sales teams to exceed goals.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and reporting tools.
  • Must reside in or near the Denver, CO area.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current insurance, and ability to travel within the assigned territory daily.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in a related industry is acceptable.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000, and the actual starting salary may vary depending on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
