About this opportunity:

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator at TRES, you will support the development and execution of digital marketing strategies across social media, email, and web platforms. Your work will enhance visibility, engagement, and brand identity by producing compelling digital content and executing targeted marketing initiatives. By combining creativity with analytics, you will help TRES reach diverse audiences and build strong community relationships online.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that support program promotion and community engagement.
  • Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely posting across all digital platforms.
  • Design visually appealing digital content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
  • Create, schedule, and oversee social media posts using platforms such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok scheduling tools.
  • Engage with online audiences through comments, messages, and community interactions to strengthen digital relationships.
  • Optimize content using SEO best practices to increase reach, visibility, and website traffic.
  • Analyze digital performance metrics using Google Analytics, Hootsuite Insights, and platform analytics dashboards.
  • Prepare reports on engagement, conversions, and campaign effectiveness, recommending strategies for improvement.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other platforms, optimizing performance through A/B testing and data-driven adjustments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners—including community organizations and influencers—to promote events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all visuals, messaging, and digital communications.
  • Stay current with emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating innovative ideas into TRES’s marketing strategy.
  • Deliver day camps (e.g., March Break Camp, Weekend Camp, and Summer Camp) and other virtual and in-person educational programs across the Greater Toronto Area.

Requirements:

  • Passion for digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital content design.
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital advertising, and analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, or Hootsuite is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; familiarity with Slack is preferred.
  • Ability to work 35–40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends based on assigned shifts.
  • Mobility to commute across the Greater Toronto Area, mainly York Region and Toronto.
  • A valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification and a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (required before the first day; not reimbursed).
  • Candidates must be between 15-30 years of age, a Canadian citizen/permanent resident/refugee protection status, and have a valid SIN.

Assets:

  • Experience in community outreach, marketing coordination, or social media management.
  • Experience working with youth, diverse groups, or community organizations.
  • Fluency in more than one language (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
  • Access to a car and a valid G2/G Ontario driver’s licence.
  • This is a fully in-person position. Salary ranges from $18-26/hour, dependent on experience, skills, education, and role.
