About the role
We’re looking for an AC Electrician to work with EcoNova Solar on solar installation projects in Ontario. EcoNova Solar is a Canadian solar installation company working on residential and commercial solar projects. We are looking for someone who can help with the AC electrical side of solar installations, including inverter connection, disconnects, breakers, panel work, and ESA inspection support.
Requirements
Licensed electrician in Ontario, preferably 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Experience with residential or commercial electrical work Solar PV experience Experience with inverters, disconnects, subpanels, main panels, and breakers Understanding of ESA requirements and inspection process Own tools and reliable transportation Responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Solar + battery backup experience Net metering project experience Master Electrician or ECRA/ESA Licensed Electrical Contractor status Ability to work as a subcontractor Comfort with digital tools for remote documentation, reporting, and project coordination. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
