We are seeking a strong, hands-on leader to join our Fort McMurray Service team as our next Industrial Service Crew Lead. In this role, you will guide a team responsible for maintaining HVAC air filtration systems at major oil sands facilities. Your leadership will ensure our customers maintain clean indoor air, helping protect critical processes and keep operations running safely and efficiently. This role oversees and supports Service Technicians in the day-to-day replacement of HVAC air filters across plant sites in the Fort McMurray region. This is a full-time, 50 hour per week, position supporting plant sites around Fort McMurray, working from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid after 40 hours.
The day-to-day activities of our Industrial Service Crew Lead include:
- Team Leadership – Supervise, train, and mentor Service Technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Support team development and foster a positive, accountable work environment.
- Service Delivery – Inspect and change air filters in HVAC units and perform the associated repairs and housekeeping duties to ensure that our customers continuously have clean indoor air.
- Commitment to Safety – Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by maintaining a safe work environment for all team members, conducting hazard assessments, and documenting any incidents or near misses.
- Teamwork and Continuous Improvement - Collaborate with the Service team to continually build knowledge about air quality performance and provide ways to improve processes.
The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:
- 3+ years in a team leadership role
- 1+ years of labour experience
- Mechanical knowledge and skills in previous roles is an asset
- The following certifications are an asset: CSO or BSO, H2S Awareness, Silica Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, etc
- Familiarity with large industrial sites in the Fort McMurray region (e.g., Suncor, Syncrude, CNRL, Albian, Fort Hills) is considered an asset.

A successful candidate must be able to pass pre-access drug and alcohol tests and maintains a non-GDL Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year Driver’s Abstract and three years of insured driving history. This candidate must be clean shaven to complete respirator fit testing upon hire.
