Your Impact
Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Strategy, the Digital Strategy Manager will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives and business planning. You will help ensure that team-level plans are aligned with the overall Digital Organization (CDO) strategy. You will work with various teams to consolidate results and help articulate the success of our strategies. This role will also assist in articulating the CDO's AI strategy and incorporating planning related to partnerships and M activities.
What the Role Offers
- Strategic Planning Support: You will work with various SLT groups under CDO leadership, Commercial Cloud Operations, Cyber Security, Corporate IT, and Global Operations, to help align their strategies and ensure plans are cohesive and measurable.
- Strategic Insights: You will conduct external market research and monitor industry trends to inform and support the development of strategic plans.
- External Partnership Coordination: You will assist in managing projects and initiatives with external partners, such as universities, research institutions, venture funds, and startups. This includes helping to ensure these relationships provide value to the long-range CDO strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You will collaborate on the creation of materials for internal and external stakeholders, helping to articulate OpenText's digital strategy and business plans.
- ELT Collaboration: You will support efforts to ensure the CDO's plans align with OpenText's corporate strategic focus.
- Financial Collaboration: You will partner with Business Operations and Finance to support multi-year financial planning.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree and 4-6+ years of experience in a strategic, analytical, business planning, operational role or related field, preferably within the technology sector.
- Experience in supporting strategy and planning initiatives and helping to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop presentations for an executive audience.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and identify opportunities to streamline planning and reporting, through process improvement and us of AI tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT, commercial operations, network, or GIS is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to help articulate the digital strategy and streamline planning processes.
- Experience in helping to develop and report on key performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in supporting M integration and planning programs is an asset.

As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
