Position Overview: Finning Canada is looking for passionate and experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics (Red Seal preferred) to join our team dedicated to servicing our customers in Golden and surrounding area on a 7x7 Shift. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics of a variety of Caterpillar equipment.

Job Description: Major Job Functions
- Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in a service oriented gas compression environment
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**
Specific Skills & Experience
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal is an asset)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience repairing CAT equipment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Completion, or in the process of completing all Finning S- level courses
- Self-motivated and computer literate
- Experience with Costwatcher, DBS, SIS and Warranty Systems as well as a good understanding of Finning systems, would all be assets
- Successful candidate will need to be customer orientated and motivated to meet the customer's expectations
- Ability to work safely with minimal supervision
- This position will work a 7x7 Shift
- A recent driver’s abstract is required
- Please be advised, the successful candidate for this position will reside in Golden.
Note: Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
