Confederation Park, Canadian Tire is looking for a part time Hardware Department Associate. Reporting to the Hardware Supervisor, your ability to consistently identify customer requirements will be demonstrated through appropriate product recommendations. Challenge your general "handy" abilities/interests and join our team today! A good summer opportunity for a high school or university student, Must have open availability. Must be able to lift 60lbs, and climb a 6ft ladder. This position offers competitive compensation in a friendly work environment. The Hardware Department Team Member will be responsible for:
- Displaying natural, excellence in customer service
- Stock and reposition shelves within the Hardware Department as required
- Know the store, departments, and product availability to efficiently respond to customer inquiries regardless of location within the store
- Provide insightful input to ordering based on customer demands within the Hardware Department.
This opportunity is available to those who demonstrate:
- Dependability and reliability from previous work and/or team experiences
- Evening and weekend availability
- Physical ability to lift 60 Lbs. independently
- Priority will be given to those who show a keen interest in home projects, products, and associated skills.
