What is the opportunity?

As a Cash Cage Associate you are responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by meeting client’s extensive everyday banking transaction needs, with a primary focus on moderately complex transactional and ancillary services.

What will you do?

  • You demonstrate excellence and accountability in cash/operations/risk by taking the appropriate action to minimize client impact and unit losses, ensuring concerns are escalated with urgency, while balancing client experience
  • You are a RBC digital ambassador. You use, educate and demonstrate to our clients and employees, RBC’s RBC’s Multi-channel & Digital solutions
  • You are an advocate for digital transformation and support branch leadership by being a role model to employees
  • You know your capabilities, are open to coaching, feedback, new ideas and stand ready to adapt, learn and innovate to deliver at minimum, High Performance
  • You are an RBC ambassador to your family, friends and communities we serve

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum of 5 CXC passes (Grades 1, 2 or 3) inclusive of Mathematics and English
  • A minimum of one year of client service; preferably 2-3 years in one position
  • Industry experience in financial services, retail, hospitality, travel etc.
  • Client service orientation, driven to help clients meet needs or resolve problems with a friendly outgoing personality
  • Team player, driven to ensure that the whole RBC team is successful in meeting client needs
  • Strong inclination to listen first, respond second; ensure client needs are accurately understood and an appropriate response provided
  • Strong organizational skills; the ability to handle cash, compile facts, figures and files in an orderly fashion
