Overall Accountability

The Cosmetology Technician assists the cosmetology teacher in the preparation and demonstration of cosmetology instruction.

Specific Accountabilities

• Assists students and teachers in the laboratory

• Demonstrates cosmetology techniques and functions

• Develops and supports service to clients (bookings, payments, etc.)

• Maintains the cosmetology laboratory environment and equipment

• Ensures the maintenance and ordering of supplies

• Ensures safety and cleanliness procedures are adhered to

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma

• Three (3) years of industry experience

• Valid Journeyman Hairstylist License
