Job Title: Strategic Planning and Corporate Reporting Analyst
Annual Salary: $116, 259 - $138,879

The Strategic Planning and Corporate Reporting Analyst is a pivotal role, offering you the chance to sit at the intersection of high-level strategy and organizational execution. You won¿t just file reports¿you¿ll be the person driving clarity and direction for the entire organization. You¿ll provide critical analysis and advice directly to our Governance Council, President, and Senior Management Team, shaping key strategic decisions that affect our stakeholders. Take the lead in facilitating and developing our multi-year Strategic Plans and annual Corporate Plans. This means crafting the blueprint for the Workers¿ Safety and Compensation Commission¿s (WSCC) long-term vision and annual priorities. Work collaboratively with Senior Managers and divisional teams across the WSCC to ensure their objectives, work plans, and initiatives directly support our core Vision, Mission, and Values. You¿ll be the connective tissue ensuring all parts of the organization are moving in the same, strategic direction. Manage the crucial quarterly and annual tracking process for all strategic activities. You will translate performance data into clear, impactful reports for the Governance Council and the public, upholding our commitment to transparency and results. Lead the end-to-end production of the Annual Report, a cornerstone document mandated by both NT and NU legislation, serving as the official record of our yearly achievements. Here are a few ways you will make a difference:
- Providing analysis and advice to the WSCC¿s Senior Management Team and Governance Council on strategic decisions and technical advice on the strategic and corporate planning process.
- Facilitating the strategic and corporate planning process, liaising with senior staff to develop objectives, actions, and initiatives, as well as producing the written content and key performance indicators pursuant to legislative requirements.
- Undertakes planning and performance measurement through production of annual Corporate Plans, Quarterly Updates, and the Annual Report.
- Maintains the WSCC¿s Service Standards document.
- Responsible for internal communications content that is delivered within an organization specific to Executive Communications.
What you bring to the role:
- A bachelor¿s degree in a related discipline combined with three years of broadly based practical experience in strategic or corporate planning and performance measurement within governmental or non-governmental agencies.
- Experience with Lean business concepts and the ability to apply them to workplace processes is considered an asset.
