The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking (2) full-time, permanent Senior Consultant, Strategy and Partnerships to join the Strategy, Partnerships and Corporate Planning team. This office plays a pivotal role in shaping CAMH’s future through strategic foresight, corporate planning, and partnership development.
Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Partnerships with a dotted line to the Director, Strategy and Corporate Planning, or vice versa, the Senior Consultant will operate within a collaborative matrix model to support the implementation of CAMH’s strategic initiatives and partnership goals. This includes working across the organization and with external partners to facilitate strategic change, build capacity, and embed systemic design and human-centered design methods in all areas of strategy and partnership work.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Lead strategic implementation across CAMH using systems thinking, human-centered design, and equity-focused approaches.
- Support strategic planning through stakeholder engagement, environmental scanning, facilitation, work plan development, and evaluation.
- Contribute to CAMH’s partnership strategy, including supporting the development, maintenance and evaluation of key partnerships.
- Build organizational capacity for strategic change and partnership development by creating and disseminating tools, resources, and coaching models.
- Apply foresight and innovation practices to anticipate future challenges and position CAMH for long-term success.
- Collaborate across portfolios, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and facilitate meaningful engagement processes.
Job Requirements
- A university degree in health sciences, public health, health policy/administration, business administration, design, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, or healthcare settings; experience in mental health and addictions is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in systems thinking, human-centered design, partnership-building, and strategic implementation.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication and writing skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and drive organizational change.
- Ability to frame and synthesize insights and pitch ideas persuasively.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, analyzing data, and developing practical and creative solutions to complex challenges.
- Experience working with equity-driven and anti-oppressive approaches and embedding them into strategic processes.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed team environment with multiple stakeholders.
- A growth mindset and strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Please Note: This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of any Bargaining Unit.
Salary Range: Competitive Salary & Benefits Package.
