About the role

Job Title: Driver (Warehouse Operations)

Job Status: Part-Time (Early Morning and Afternoon Shifts), Independent Contractor

Hourly Commitment: 20 - 30 hours (PT)

Compensation: $20/hour

Location: Warehouse in Mississauga

We are looking for organized and detail-oriented team players to help us get groceries out the door - fast, fresh, accurate, and on time.

The Role As the Driver to support our daily warehouse-to-node deliveries and supplier pickups. You’ll be a critical link between our fulfillment operations and our customers and partners across the GTA. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organized, detail-oriented, and confident navigating early morning and afternoon shifts with professionalism and grace.

Sample Weekly Shifts Monday: Vendor pickups only (start and shift time varies)

Monday To Saturday

  • Arrive in Mississauga by 6:45 AM
  • Deliver to Burlington (Trexity node) by 8:00 AM
  • Complete any scheduled supplier pickups and return to Mississauga
  • Typical end time: around 1:00 PM

Typically 25 - 30 hours/week. Note: These are general examples of what a typical week may look like. Actual shift times and durations will vary based on business needs will shift. What You’ll Do

  • Ensure safe, timely deliveries and pickups across the GTA
  • Accurately pick and stage orders based on assigned routes
  • Inspect boxes for packing integrity, customer/order accuracy, and overall presentability
  • Retrieve orders from refrigerated and frozen walk-in units
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with care (up to 50 lbs)
  • Collaborate with the fulfillment team to meet daily service levels and timelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace, including the reefer van
  • Follow all route plans, traffic regulations, and delivery protocols
  • Communicate clearly with warehouse staff and vendors to escalate issues as needed
  • Promptly report any delays, stock concerns, or delivery complications
  • Uphold Tre’dish’s quality and customer excellence standards in every interaction

What You Bring

  • High attention to detail and pride in doing great work
  • A keen eye for order accuracy
  • Strong, positive and productive communication skills and willingness to learn about storing and packing food safely
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay focused in a fast-paced, in and out environment
  • Comfort with physical tasks (lifting, standing, moving for extended periods)
  • A team-first attitude - reliable, respectful, and ready to jump in where needed
  • Punctual, responsible, and able to follow standard operating procedures
  • Must have access to a vehicle and/or be able to commute during afternoon and evening hours when transit options may be limited
  • Food handling experience or previous warehouse work is a plus but not required - we’ll train the right people.

What You Need To Have

  • Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Availability for all listed shifts, including early mornings and weekends
  • Smartphone for navigation and communication
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
  • Strong punctuality, personal responsibility, and time management
  • High attention to detail and a sense of pride in doing great work
  • A keen eye for order accuracy and safe handling of fresh/frozen food
  • Clear, respectful communication skills and willingness to learn food safety best practices
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, in-and-out work environment
  • A team-first attitude - reliable, respectful, and ready to jump and take charge in wherever needed
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues when needed
  • Must have access to a vehicle or be able to commute reliably during early morning and late afternoon hours when transit is limited

Nice To Have

  • Experience in food delivery, courier work, or warehouse logistics
  • Familiarity with GTA roadways and traffic patterns
  • Previous customer service or partner-facing logistics experience
  • Basic knowledge of food handling best practices (we’ll train the right people)
