About the role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trans-border documentation. Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Dry bulk. Refrigerated. Experience: Experience an asset. Employment terms options: To be determined. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
