About the role
Position Summary... The Analyst, Product drives product success through data-driven decisions, stakeholder collaboration, and process optimization, ensuring clear requirements, robust performance metrics, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do... Key Responsibilities:

Fulfillment Logic Ownership (20%)
-
Own and manage fulfillment logic for Ship From Store, Pickup From Store, and Online Grocery streams.

Drive expansion and restriction rules, balancing trade-offs to maximize program effectiveness.

Stakeholder Alignment (20%)
-
Ensure strong cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Merchant, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Last Mile Carriers.
-
Represent the Canadian market, ensuring local requirements are included in global product initiatives.
-
Rule Governance (20%)
-
Serve as the business representative and subject matter expert for rule implementation related to Product Content and PIP experiences.
-
Manage and maintain rules via Imperium and attribute normalization via Mantis.
-
Translate complex business requirements into actionable logic, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
-
Offer Listing (15%)
-
Maintain and troubleshoot rules affecting item visibility and transactability on Walmart.ca.
-
Investigate and resolve issues related to item listing rules.
-
System Governance & Ownership (10%)
-
Support Imperium, Mantis, and ATOM systems in Canada.
-
Troubleshoot, validate, and resolve system issues, acting as the main business contact for these platforms.
-
Liaise with product partners to address system delays and process roadblocks.

Change Management (5%)
-
Lead change initiatives for systemic logic implementations and share new knowledge and processes with stakeholders.

Training & Process Development (5%)
-
Create and document SOPs, how-to guides, and process maps.
-
Adapt to and capture new processes for stakeholder training.
-
User Acceptance Testing (5%)
Participate in UAT for new rules and updates, analyzing results and advocating for Canadian market needs.
Qualifications
- Education: College diploma required.
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Supervisory/Management Experience: Not required.
- Licenses/Certifications: No special licenses or certifications required.
Technical Skills
- Experience with business rules engine configuration
- Ability to analyze and translate business requirements
- Data analysis and validation skills
- Rule logic development using conditional operators (EQUALS, AND, OR)
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries
- Experience with Product Information Management Systems (e.g., Stibo STEP) is an asset
- Data management proficiency
- Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
