Fantuan is looking for a Video Content Specialist based in Vancouver to support our growing video content needs across social media platforms. This role focuses on short-form video creation for platforms such as Xiaohongshu (RED), Douyin,TikTok, and Insta
Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit short-form video content for social media platforms
- Create videos featuring local merchants, food, city life, events, and brand storytelling
- Publish and manage video content on Xiaohongshu, Douyin, TikTok, and Instagram
- Assist with testing different video formats, including AI-assisted content
- Organize and manage video assets and raw footage
- Collaborate with Vancouver-based interns and the China-based social media team to support content needs
Requirements
- Based in Vancouver and available for in-person filming
- Experience with short-form video filming and editing (portfolio required)
- Proficient with common video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Good understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to deliver work consistently
- Experience with AI video tools
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or Xiaohongshu
- Background in food, lifestyle, or local business content
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin
