Job Summary
The Manager, Communications is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that support the goals of the Division of People Strategy, Equity & Culture. This role involves managing internal and external communications, overseeing the production of communication materials, and ensuring alignment with the University’s brand and messaging.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies and plans.
- Manage the production of communication materials, including newsletters, reports, and digital content.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing social media platforms and digital content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in a higher education environment.
- Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
