YNCU acknowledges the history of the traditional territory on which it operates. YNCU is headquartered on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee Peoples as well as on Robinson-Huron Treaty territory, traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg, specifically the Garden River and Batchewana First Nations, as well as Métis People.
