Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Labourer for work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Shop and Yard in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a shop environment and possess strong technical and interpersonal skills.
As a Shop and Yard Labourer you will be responsible for:
- Performing general labour duties within the shop.
- Organizing equipment and supplies.
- Loading and unloading equipment.
- Organizing and maintaining yard.
- Install safety fences and railings.
- Identify appropriate tools for necessary task.
- Handle all power tools.
- Identifying and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
- Support inventory management and organization of parts and materials
- Use basic computer programs to catalog and track inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness in the yard.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Utilize computer systems for data entry, inventory tracking, and parts management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a labourer in a shop setting.
- Strong computer skills, including: Data entry, inventory management, familiarity with parts person programs
- Excellent soft skills, including: Personable and approachable, ability to work well with others, strong organizational skills
- Construction experience- 1 year (preferred)
- Driving License (required)
- Experience operating a Skidsteer or Zoom Boom- (preferred but not required)
