Claims Auditor (Bilingual)
About the role
Permanent Full Time
As a Claim auditor, you will be responsible for carrying out the necessary verifications to ensure the quality of Member E-Claim submissions.
This position is required to be three days in office.
What you will do:
- Compare and validate the submitted receipts with the information entered by the member.
- Prepare communications to be sent to members and providers.
- Seeking confirmation or clarification on information
- Phone calls to providers across Canada to validate information, using the details obtained during the audit.
- Take appropriate measures such as updating the records in our systems.
- Refer adjustments to a Benefit Specialist for complicated adjustments.
- Refer escalations and or suspicious cases to our head office team for further investigation.
Required competencies and behaviors:
- Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task.
- Ability to multi-task and handle varying volumes of work daily, while maintaining service standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel
- Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.
Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be in the following offices: Montreal, London, and Winnipeg.
The base salary for this position is between $38,300.00 minimum - $57,400.00 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
