About the role
Role Overview
Our client is looking for a Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce developer to build and extend web/POS experiences using Site Builder and Cloud Scale Unit (CSU) , aligning closely with functional/solution design and modern front-end standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business/functional designs into scalable D365 Commerce implementations.
- Build/customize Commerce modules with Site Builder and CSU extensions using the Commerce SDK.
- Implement responsive front-end UI (React/TypeScript) from design systems (e.g., Figma); apply brand styles.
- Extend/configure experiences across web storefront and POS (CPOS/MPOS).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize custom code for performance/reliability.
- Use Azure DevOps for branching, PRs, work items, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support system/integration testing, UAT, and production rollout; follow Microsoft best practices & cloud security.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven, recent D365 Commerce development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Site Builder, CSU extensions, and the Commerce SDK.
- Experience building custom modules for web storefront and POS.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, releases).
- Ability to implement UI from Figma/design systems; solid problem-solving and code quality discipline.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to D365 Finance & Operations integration points.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
