About the role

At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. As an Oracle consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Oracle applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Oracle applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

The Opportunity:

As a Manager - Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Understand project-driven organization’s business requirements to support project planning, execution, control and billing, and how these requirements align to Oracle’s Cloud functionality
  • Plan and design the best and most optimal solution for the client. Leverage industry best practices and oversee the business and application design leveraging the Oracle Cloud
  • Working with our team, lead the configuration of the designed Oracle solution to meet the client’s project delivery business requirements
  • Participate in sales cycles to estimate delivery costs and efforts, participate at client orals and presentations, and assist to draft and finalize Statements of Work
  • Lead initiatives to develop and improve the Oracle practice

What You'll Bring: Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here's what we look for:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with Oracle Cloud Finance Applications implementation. Domain/accounting background is a must.
  • Experience in at least 3 end to end implementation in Cloud Financial modules.
  • Strong hands-on experience across Oracle Financials modules, with deep expertise in at least two core areas (GL,AP,AR).
  • Ability to work as the lead of a team of consultants, to own end-to-end delivery across functional and technical workstreams to meet milestones.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable work plans for the team, and proactively own and manage dependencies, risks, and delivery bottlenecks across modules.
  • Oversee testing strategy, defect triage, cutover planning, and go-live readiness in collaboration with client teams.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex Oracle and accounting topics in clear, business focused language.
  • Experience leading design by exception and minimizing customizations.
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues including customers, onshore counterpart, team members, business analysts and business teams.

The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
