About the role
We are currently hiring Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultants to support a large-scale Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment for a Government client in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise IAM infrastructure, PKI technologies, disaster recovery initiatives, and large-scale identity management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support Development, UAT, and Production GO-PKI environments. Upgrade and maintain Entrust Certificate Authority (CA) environments. Assist with Disaster Recovery (DR) implementation for Certificate Authority servers. Configure and support Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Support migration from Atos DirX to Oracle Unified Directory (OUD). Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security. Perform system maintenance, patching, backups, certificate renewals, and performance tuning. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and application issues. Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities. Support integrations with enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions. Develop automation scripts, utilities, and technical documentation. Collaborate with infrastructure teams, vendors, and client stakeholders. Assist in knowledge transfer and operational documentation.
Must-Have Qualifications
10+ years of experience supporting Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, including administration, operations, monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and production support. Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise IAM implementations serving 10,000+ registered users. Hands-on experience with Entrust PKI Suite, including Security Manager, Security Manager Proxy, Admin Services, and Automated Enrolment Services (AES). Strong experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM). Experience with LDAP technologies, including Atos DirX and Apache Directory Studio (or equivalent LDAP tools). Experience designing, deploying, administering, and supporting enterprise applications using Oracle WebLogic, IIS, Apache HTTP Server / IBM Web Server / NGINX, Oracle Database (11g or later) and SQL, Windows, Linux, Solaris, and AIX operating systems Strong knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SSL/TLS, encryption, authentication, and certificate management. Experience with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity, and Service Level Management. Proven experience troubleshooting complex enterprise applications and resolving production incidents. Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience configuring and supporting Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Experience with Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) migrations or administration. Experience implementing or supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for enterprise applications. Experience with Entrust Managed Cloud Services or similar cloud-based PKI solutions. Experience supporting enterprise networking infrastructure, including load balancers, firewalls, proxy servers, gateways, and routers. Experience developing automation scripts, utilities, SQL queries, reports, or operational tools. Experience with automated testing tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), Robot Framework, GOSS, or SikuliX. Experience working within large public sector or highly regulated enterprise environments. Ability to participate in production on-call support and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and application support teams. Experience mentoring team members and contributing to knowledge transfer and operational documentation.
