As a Senior Analyst in Data Visualization, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and fund publications for mutual and segregated funds.
- Validating the accuracy of key financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and equity.
- Identifying and analyzing financial discrepancies or irregularities to mitigate potential risks.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance of financial statements in accordance with industry standards.
- Implementing and monitoring internal controls related to financial and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborating on data governance, ensuring accuracy and integrity with internal and external teams.
- Assessing institutional client needs and contributing to the optimization of reporting processes and tools.
- Developing models and visualization solutions tailored to institutional client requirements.
What Will Help You Succeed in This Role
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is known for their rigor and precision in handling complex financial data.
- Stands out for their mastery of IFRS standards and financial sector regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze financial discrepancies in a dynamic environment.
- Is comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively in English.
- Has at least 10 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting within the financial services sector.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Possesses a professional designation such as CPA (an asset).
- Is proficient in reporting and BI tools such as Excel, Power BI, Workiva, or other visualization tools.
- Has knowledge of databases and data management systems (an asset).
- Has advanced french proficiency, both spoken and written, due to daily tasks performed in french. These include video conference meetings, presentations, and email communications with French-speaking partners and vendors.
