Right Time Heating & Cooling requires energetic, motivated and career-minded HVAC Service Journeyman and Installers working in Residential applications to be responsible for performing onsite maintenance to HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems and equipment. Apprentices welcome.
The Residential HVAC Service or Installation Journeyman shall also be responsible for working independently, keeping work areas clean and orderly and for driving Right Time vehicles, maintaining a mobile inventory of parts and tools.
Do you:
- Give customers the red-carpet treatment?
- Recommend additional services or treatments to make their home more comfortable?
- Provide quality service and are committed to being a master of your trade?
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Journeyman Refrigeration
- Gas Fitters License Required
- Ensure customers heating, ventilation, and air-condition equipment meets or exceeds municipal building codes and standards.
- Follow all Energy Star installation and service processes and procedures.
- Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all various HVAC options
- Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections
- Maintain all facility logbooks as per schedule requirements
- Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle
- Explain the benefits of newer highly efficient equipment to the customer.
- Promote Furnaceguys products and services on every call.
- Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need.
- Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customers home
- Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.
Education/Experience/Skills
- A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC service experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters.
- Must have demonstrated strong technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles.
- Must be effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments.
- If you are an apprentice, must be at least a 3rd year.
- Sheet Metal Fabrication experience an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean record
- Clear criminal record
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
- An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements
- Strong customer service skills
- Satisfactory Background Check
