About the role
Join Raylec Power Alberta as a full-time Equipment Operator (or Skilled Labourer) on a large, long-term civil construction project. This role involves operating various machinery and performing general labour tasks to support highway electrical infrastructure across Alberta.

What you bring:
- Class 3 Driver’s License (preferred) or valid Class 5 with clean abstract
- Experience in shallow utility installation (asset)
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Experience with RBD/digger derrick, mini-excavator, skid-steer, or other heavy equipment (asset)
- TCP certification, OFA levels I–III, and fall protection certification (preferred)
This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to:
- Operating equipment such as RBD/digger derrick, bucket truck, crane, excavator/backhoe, skid steer, forklift, plate compactor, jumping jack, dump trailer, flat deck, and arrow truck (training provided)
- Performing trenching, backfilling, cable/conduit installation, and site cleanup
- Coordinating material deliveries and maintaining organized work areas
- Assisting with traffic control and general labour tasks
- Working night shifts and traveling as required
