Job Posting Vice Principal Frontier School Competition # 3984 The Chinook School Division is seeking a dynamic, student-focused leader to be Vice Principal of Swift Current Comprehensive High School beginning August 26, 2026. The teaching assignment for the successful candidate will be determined in consultation with the Principal. Frontier School is a grade K-12 school with 147 students and 9 teachers.

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to working as a member of the school division's educational leadership team.
  • A Bachelor of Education degree is a minimum requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability in program, curriculum and staff development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current educational trends, methods and use of technology to enhance instruction.
  • Demonstrated ability to time-table and an ability to program to meet the needs of students.
  • Demonstrated skills in community involvement and public relations including the ability to work cooperatively with parents, professionals and community service agencies.
  • Graduate level training in areas such as supervision of instruction, program and curriculum development and administration would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a problem solver and to work collaboratively with others.
  • Recent, successful teaching experience.
  • Administrative experience would be an asset.
