We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Services team. This position will draft decision documents, develop policy, brief senior management, prepare drafting instructions, and collaborate with solicitors and drafters.

We are a high-performing team that thrives in a fast-paced environment, working closely to support our Minister, develop policy, and shape legislation. In this role, you will lead major policy initiatives and support the team in delivering fearless policy advice and effective implementation. Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume; ensure you use a month/year to month/year format and include the duties you performed in each of your positions.

  • A degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related discipline;
  • Experience playing a leadership role in large complex legislative projects;
  • Extensive experience taking policy projects from inception to the final approvals process;
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders; and,
  • Knowledge of Yukon’s transportation network and operations will be considered an asset.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
