Job Summary Reporting to Controller, the incumbent is responsible to provide financial support and advice to the Controller and Plant Teams, as required.
Responsibilities Assist in Management of Accounts Payable, accounts receivable and general ledger Systems, prioritizing activities to ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks necessary to fulfill team & company goals. Act as backup for A/R, A/P. Responsible for Capital tracking, fixed assets, & system management Responsible to plan cash flows and assist with the analysis of financial performance. Evaluate financial risk and assist with the preparation of financial forecasts. Balancing all intercompany transactions and prepare monthly account and bank reconciliations. Responsible for all banking activities. Prepare monthly journals and supporting schedules. Assist in inventory counts & reporting. Prepare financial statements, schedules & government reports. Review and create journal entry for all P-card reports. Maintain perpetual inventory records, and asset / costing systems.
Education, Experience, Skills Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Minimum of 3 years progressive accounting experience CPA designation or international equivalent Supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to train accounting clerks. SRED experience is an asset Experience dealing with external audits
