About the role

Position Description

The Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto invites applications for the Munk Chair in Global China. The successful candidate will be a scholar of international relations, political economy, or a related field, with a focus on China.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and publish in leading academic journals.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Global China.
  • Supervise graduate students and contribute to the academic community.
  • Engage with policy-makers and practitioners in the field.

Required Qualifications

  • A PhD in a relevant field.
  • A strong record of research and publication.
  • Experience in teaching at the university level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with China.
  • Ability to engage with diverse audiences.
