Job Summary
Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, the Content Creator will support the management of social media accounts. The position focuses primarily on content ideation, creation, and production — including photography, videography, and editing, leveraging our in-house equipment such as cameras, drones, and lighting kits.
This role plays a key part in visually bringing to life the unique experiences and stories of Hotel X Toronto across digital channels and is an excellent opportunity to work at Toronto’s only lakefront urban resort.
Responsibilities**:**
- Capture and produce high-quality photo/video content for marketing and social media use.
- Edit and deliver finished assets optimized for each platform (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Plan & storyboard creative concepts in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and team.
- Operate and maintain in-house production equipment (cameras, lenses, drone, lighting, audio gear).
- Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc).
- Support larger photo and video shoots, ensuring consistent brand visuals and messaging across all content.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness including promotions and contests.
- Perform market analysis and research on latest trends.
- Preparing marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing and sales data.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in video production, photography, and editing.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom (After Effects or DaVinci
- Resolve an asset).
- Experience operating cameras, drones, and lighting setups.
- Hands on experience in content management.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
- Understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with web design.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Multitasking skills.
- Working knowledge of marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce and web tools such as HTML/CSS is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills as well as being attentive to details.
