Role: Corporate Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our corporate team that can successfully multi-task in this global and multi-currency environment, who will be responsible for full cycle accounting for global entities and assist in preparing comprehensive consolidated financial statements.

Requirements
What you'll do...
- Responsible for full cycle accounting for corporate and operating entities
- Prepare quarterly consolidated workbooks, financial statements and MD&A
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with monthly FP&A reporting, providing analysis & commentary to senior management
- Manage external audit and tax relationships and requests
- Implement consistent accounting policies, controls, and procedures across all business unites, adhering to best practices and legal standards
- Manage the Company’s corporate payroll and some operating units
- Oversee transition of local business unit ERP systems to Netsuite
- Maintain the integrity of accounting information by accurately reviewing, verifying, and recording transactions
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT/HST filings and payroll
- Assist with quarterly transfer pricing allocations and invoicing
- Manage monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Work with global business unit finance teams reporting into corporate
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or equivalent designation required
- 4+ years experience working in accounting including experience in a multi-entity, high volume, multi-currency environment
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Must be highly organized and independent
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and able to adapt to changing business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
