Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides operational HR support to business leaders and employees across assigned locations or business units. This role focuses on delivering core HR services including employee relations, investigations, performance management support, recruitment coordination, and policy implementation.

The position partners closely with managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes while supporting a positive and productive workplace environment.

This role is primarily focused onoperational HR delivery, with some exposure to HR Business Partner responsibilities, including supporting workforce planning initiatives and HR programs

**Schedule:**Permanent, Full-time position, onsite 5 days a week

What you will do

Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on workplace issues, HR policies, and employment practices.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations matters, including conducting workplace investigations and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Assist leaders with performance management processes including coaching, documentation, and corrective action.

HR Operations

  • Support day-to-day HR activities across assigned locations or business units.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment standards.
  • Assist with onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.

Recruitment & Talent Support

  • Support recruitment processes including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview support.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to facilitate hiring and onboarding activities.
  • Assist with workforce planning activities and staffing needs.

Manager Support

  • Provide HR guidance to managers on employee relations, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Support managers in handling employee issues in a fair and consistent manner.

HR Programs & Compliance

  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives and programs across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and HR practices.

HR Reporting

  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and records.
  • Support reporting on HR metrics and workforce data as required.

What You’ll Bring

-6–9 years of progressive HR experience

  • Experience working inHR Generalist or HR Advisor roles
  • Strong experience inemployee relations and workplace investigations
  • Experience supportingoperational or multi-site environments
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field -CPHR designation or working toward certification is an asset
