Sr. Equipment Support Equipment Engineer
About the role
Job responsibilities:
- Hands on technical support to repair different pump and abatement systems.
- Manage pump repair vendor contract and provide technician direction
- Manage calibration vendor contract and program
- Provide leadership in equipment programs (5S, Technician Training/Development)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Expertise in vacuum systems and proficiency in troubleshooting electronic and pneumatic components
- Expertise in abatement systems and proficiency in troubleshooting electronic and pneumatic components
- Good foundational problem-solving skills with creative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data to develop timely action plans addressing recurring failures
- Creation of standardized procedures aimed at improving Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Leading cross-functional projects with the ability to execute to given timelines
- Applying Six Sigma and statistical process control methodologies
- Demonstrated self-motivation and effectiveness in collaborative team environments
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
Job Qualifications:
- BS in an engineering discipline
- 5 years’ experience in equipment engineering in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in the following disciplines: Dry pumps, Cryopumps, Turbomolecular pumps, Abatement units, and Chillers in the semiconductor industry
- Demonstrate self-motivation and effectiveness in collaborative team environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong desire to help create a positive, winning, world class working environment.
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods is highly desirable.
- Forklift certification is preferred
