Java Developer / Java GCP Engineer
About the role
Hiring: Java Developer / Java GCP Engineer Location: Location: North York, ON (Canada) Experience: 7+ Years We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to build, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications. Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments. Follow cloud security, governance, and best practices. Required Skills 7+ years of experience in Java application development. Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Skills Experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub. Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code. Experience with AI/ML services on GCP is a plus. Google Cloud Certification is an advantage.
