DUTIES
Reporting to the Dean of Education, University College of the North requires summer student instructors at The Pas Campus to help facilitate
the Into the Wild summer enrichment program for school-aged children ranging from 8 – 13 years old. Team Leaders will create new themes
and activities for the 6-week program and will be responsible for organizing an active routine for campers on a daily basis, and will apply
Manitoba Curriculum outcomes to land based learning opportunities throughout the summer program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Student or graduate of the Kenanow Bachelor of Education program; other faculty students/graduates may be considered.

Experience with program coordination and planning

Knowledge of land-based activities, plus the local Indigenous community and resources

Experience working with groups of adults and school-aged children

Strong interpersonal communication and thinking skills

Excellent organizational skills

Strong leadership skills

Commitment to life-long learning
ASSETS
