Draught Services, a division within The Beer Store, is Canada’s oldest and largest draught service and equipment company established since 1947. We work with Brewers and Licensees towards the common goal of promoting the highest quality draught beer experience through industry leading installation, global partnerships, and an established US and Canadian dealer network. We offer nationwide installation, system cleaning and service, and support and offer Canada’s premier Keg repair service.

The Role

We are currently searching for a Warehouse Associate reporting to the Supervisor, Supply and Warehousing. This vacancy is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, retrieving stock, packing and shipping orders. Associates also ensure organization and cleanliness of all work areas within the warehouse.

What You'll Be Doing

Process orders from ERP/web systems

Answer customer inquires, both internal and external, phone and email Light assembly of products Operation of forklift and order picker Prepare shipping manifests; Track and document shipment arrival and departure times Data entry in inventory and logistics software programs Prepare orders, pick and pack shipments Perform physical inventory procedures and cycle counts Process and execute warehouse transfers, adjustments etc.

Investigate and document inventory variances and resolutions

Fill out waybills of lading Maintain a safe and healthy work environment through compliance of Health and Safety regulations Other related projects and duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent

Post secondary education considered an asset

Experience

1-2 years warehouse experience would be an asset

Skills

Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with employees, customers, and vendors Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.

Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week

Ability to operate various types of power equipment (forklift, walkies) Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Compensation

Salary range? Yup, we’ve got one: $18.00 - $21.00 CAD per hour. But here’s the real deal - if you’re the perfect brew of experience, skills, and personality, we’re open to exploring beyond the range. Tell us what you’re working with, and let’s pour over it together.
