Brock Canada is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance team in Nisku, Alberta.

This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who is energized by budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, performance analysis, and turning complex data into practical business insight. Reporting to the VP, Finance, the Manager, FP&A will support strategic decision-making across the organization by helping leaders understand financial trends, assess opportunities, manage risk, and plan for continued growth.

This is not a traditional accounting-focused role. We are looking for someone with strong FP&A experience who can connect financial results to operational performance, build meaningful forecasts and models, and provide clear recommendations that support smarter business decisions.

What You’ll Do As the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a key role in strengthening Brock Canada’s financial planning, reporting, and decision-support capabilities. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and senior leadership to provide insight into business performance and support both short-term execution and long-term planning.

Key responsibilities include: · Lead the annual budgeting process and multi-year financial planning cycle in collaboration with business and department leaders. · Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support forecasting, strategic initiatives, project evaluations, and investment analysis. · Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analysis, trend reporting, business insights, and executive-level commentary. · Partner with operational teams and Accounting to align forecasts with actual results and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities. · Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence tools that support data-driven decision-making. · Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment for major business initiatives. · Contribute to cost optimization, margin improvement, and financial performance strategies. · Provide leadership, coaching, and support to financial analysts, helping build strong technical capability and business acumen within the team.

What You Bring The successful candidate will bring strong financial planning and analysis experience, advanced modeling capability, and the ability to communicate financial information in a clear, practical, and business-focused way.

Required qualifications include: · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. · 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, corporate finance, or asimilar business planning role. · Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting. · Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build, maintain, and explain dynamic financial models. · Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools; Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools are considered an asset. · Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders. · Strong communication, business partnership, and stakeholder management skills. · Experience working with ERP systems and/or financial planning software.

Assets · CPA, CFA, or other relevant finance designation. · Experience in a multi-entity, project-based, industrial services, construction, or energy environment. · Experience supporting finance transformation, process improvement, systems implementation, or automation initiatives. · Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP reporting environments.
