Budding trees Clean the crops Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas Greenhouse cleaning Harvest seedlings Seed cutting Shear Christmas trees Tie and secure plants Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality Weeding Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants Mix and prepare soils Plant bulbs and seeds Pot and re-pot plants Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings Report signs of insect or disease damage Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens Clean work area
About Sekhon and Sons Nursery Inc.
At Sekhon & Sons Nursery, we propagate, produce, sell, and broker ornamental plants and trees. Their sizes range from liners to large street trees and specimens. We research and develop propagation techniques, including micropropagation, in our tissue culture laboratory on 6.5 acres.
We offer an extensive line of products, including native Canadian and North American plants, commonly recognized garden species and cultivars, and rare ornamental shrubs, trees, perennials, grasses and vines.
We are always searching for new and rare plant species and cultivars. We have a great interest in discovering new plants. At Sekhon & Sons Nursery, we develop new plant cultivars and introduce them to local and international markets. In the past, we introduced the Wild Dragon Series to the North American market, consisting of 71 new plants, mainly originating from Asia.
Our goal is for retail garden centers, nurseries and landscapers to discover the value of all the blossoming, intriguing plants.
