As a Senior Client Relationship Manager, you will be the strategic partner and trusted advisor to a defined block of clients and intermediaries in Western Canada. - Proactively manage a portfolio of group retirement clients, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and profitable growth
- Build and strengthen relationships with pension committees, senior client contacts, intermediaries, and other key stakeholders to anticipate needs and deliver proactive solutions
- Act as the voice of the client within the organization, collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and innovation
- Support business development efforts, including participating in finalist presentations and showcasing the GRS value proposition
- Analyze client data, prepare insightful reports and presentations, and recommend strategies that help clients meet their retirement plan objectives
- Resolve issues efficiently by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely, accurate responses
- Contribute to internal initiatives, bringing the client perspective to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with Group Benefits colleagues to identify and pursue joint opportunities that enhance the overall client experience

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of seven years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience with presentation and project management
- Experience in retirement and savings, group or institutional
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Designation (CEBS) or Retirement Plans Associate (RPA)
- Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Intermediate knowledge of the legislative and regulatory environment
- Available for occasional travel at the request of clients within Canada or United States
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
