Closure Date: To be determined; Posted until filled Position #: 9001493(V48678) Expected Start Date: September 30, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Regina General Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: Pediatric Nursing Unit Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings Hours of Work: 8 hour shifts; 112hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physician Assistant Degree $51.102 to $62.5 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an assetEducation- Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCCLicenses- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or- Valid Class 5 driver's license- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or- Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).- (May be asked to provide proof of meeting maintenance of certification)- Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.Memberships- Canadian Association of Physician AssistantsCompetencies- Advanced - Analytical skills- Intermediate - Computer skills- Advanced - Communication skills- Advanced - Technical skills- Intermediate - Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example- Advanced - Interpersonal skillsKnowledge and Abili...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
