About The Role Our client, a leading engineering consulting firm in Greater Vancouver, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural projects across industrial sectors. As the Professional of Record, you'll oversee design, condition assessments, seismic retrofits, and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality project delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead structural design for industrial facilities, buildings, foundations, and equipment supports
• Act as Professional of Record on projects, reviewing all technical submissions
• Conduct condition assessments and develop rehabilitation plans for existing structures
• Provide seismic analysis and retrofit design expertise
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Manage documentation including calculations, reports, and certifications

What You Bring

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with P.Eng registration in BC (min 2 years)
• 15+ years' structural engineering experience, preferably in consulting or EPCM roles
• Expertise in steel and concrete design, seismic codes, and condition assessments
• Knowledge of EGBC quality standards and industry codes (CSA S16, BCBC, WorkSafeBC)
• Proficiency with Autodesk ROBOT is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and vehicle access
• Eligible to work in Canada
