About the Role:
Join our team as a Customer Service Representative, where you will play a vital role in supporting builders, contractors, and customers with their natural gas needs. You will be responsible for processing requests, coordinating work orders, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process requests from builders for meter activations for construction heat and appliance inspections before occupancy.
- Create, correct, and coordinate the completion of work orders and schedule appointments using SAP and Maximo.
- Assist builders and heating contractors with our Get Connected application and provide updates on natural gas installation status.
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential residential and commercial customers, offering information to help them make informed decisions about installing natural gas or adding meters.
- Determine natural gas availability for potential new customers.
- Access Emma Cases and Listings daily to investigate and resolve billing and compliance issues.
- Maintain filing systems and Outlook mailboxes to ensure accounts are initiated for successful billing and inspections before occupancy.
- Identify and track issues to ensure proper communication and attention within regional departments.
- Manage various record systems to ensure they are current and accurate across multiple systems, ensuring follow-up.
- Resolve all incoming inquiries through email and phone calls from internal and external customers.
- Handle complaints, verify their validity, update systems, and ensure complaints are resolved, including discussions with customers.
- Complete other tasks and activities as business needs dictate.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Secondary school education or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proven excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to work independently, especially in a remote work environment.
- Strong computer skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Bilingual in French.
- Knowledge of company software programs such as Maximo, EGIS Web, CCWorksuite, and SAP applications.
