What You Will Do With Us
As the Operations Supervisor, reporting the District Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Branch Operations and Warehouse product flow of the Ottawa Hub Location.
How You Will Thrive With Us
- You will monitor expense levels and ensuring that corrective action is taken to control/reduce costs in line with budgetary requirements.
- You will adhere to company policies.
- You will ensure operational and administrative procedures are implemented and followed by all branch personnel.
- You will be responsible to complete daily administrative tasks to support the branch such as billings, credits and daily report review.
- You will be responsible for the integrity and the accuracy of the physical inventory.
- You will manage and support the Hub counter/warehouse team, motivating to achieve productivity targets/customer satisfaction.
- You will manage the branch’s Health & Safety program ensuring all policies and training are compliant. Always leading by example.
- You will have the ability to become inhouse forklift operator trainer.
- You will participate in annual audits, admin procedures & safety.
- You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service experience within the branch.
- You will be a Brand Ambassador, by building brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.
Who Are You
- You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in administration or warehouse role.
- You possess a good understanding of the AS400 system (an asset.)
- You have product knowledge of the electrical business (an asset.)
- You will demonstrated leadership abilities
- You have a positive attitude and results driven mindset
- You have a valid drivers license
