About the role

The Project Manager, Digital Marketing will play a pivotal role in managing the planning, execution, and timely delivery of digital marketing projects, ensuring they align with our global Digital & Marketing strategy.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and internal customers to ensure project continuity, adherence to governance processes, and effective stakeholder management.

By leveraging exceptional planning, coordination, and communication skills, the Project Manager will contribute significantly to achieving our business objectives and enhancing customer satisfaction.

In a typical day, YOU will:

  • Define project strategy based on requirements including creation of a project management plan and attribution of objectives to other functions (planning, costs, quality, performance).
  • Creates and maintains project timelines, tracks actions, critical path, accomplishments/deliverables.
  • Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from kick off to deadline.
  • Update management team when project resources don’t meet set expectations or requirements.
  • Works with management to resolve project issues and resource constraints within the team.
  • Working with the cross-departmental project team including internal partners.
  • Ensure that key stakeholders are aligned on the project objectives.
  • Engage teams to meet project goals and reinforce positive relationships between the respective teams.
  • Coordinate internal partners (IT, Marketing, operations and sales) and manage conflicts.
  • Coordinate with external partners.
  • Manage change management process.
  • Proactively manage risks & opportunities by monitoring progress and anticipating gaps, missed targets and optimizations to the established project plan.
  • Manage project execution, KPIs and presentations to senior leadership team during the project and after the project completion.
  • Communicates on a regular basis the progress of each project to the respective departments and provide visibility to milestones progress to the management team and the leadership team.
  • Identify project opportunities, discuss with the leadership team and contributes to process improvement by actively utilizing new practices, collecting and sharing feedback.
  • Plans and ensures optimum use of shared resources; administers and monitors use against budget and provides periodic (monthly) project forecasts.

Must-haves for this role:

  • PMP certified with 2 years of experience in project management or 5 years of experience of managing ecommerce projects in both a traditional and agile SCRUM work environment
  • English is a must; French is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, or related/equivalent
  • CSPO, SCRUM Master, ITIL or ISM & knowledge or related software tools are an asset
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to implement and deploy optimization plans post launch, where necessary
  • Ability to manage third party vendors who have key roles within the projects development
  • Comfort in managing project and vendor budgets
  • Comfort in managing UAT/QA processes with internal and external teams
  • Ability to manage more than one project at a given time
  • Ability to manage project priorities between different projects
  • Experience in implementing LEAN project management planning/process
  • Experience in technical project deployments (upgrades/Downgrades, feature deployments, PIM implementation etc.)
  • Experience creating and issuing regular status update reports/living documents to team members and leaderships teams
