PROCUREMENT MANAGER
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Purpose:
The Procurement Manager, is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost effectiveness of purchasing decisions and processes within the North American Baking Division.
Reporting to the Director of Procurement and Supply Chain NAB, the role emphasis on collecting cost benchmarks, evaluating value of supply offers (quality/service), and executing procurement decisions for the (NAB) manufacturing facilities.
The primary scope of coverage is raw materials for fermentation, filtration and packaging.

May further consist of service contracts (including energy/utilities/wastewater), and other indirect purchases (lab and equipment) as determined by the Director of Procurement.
Essential Functions:
- Communications with existing and new vendors to collect cost information
- Evaluation of supply offers with key personnel as to operational feasibility of offer (Plant Managers , Quality Assurance)
- Documentation of cost parameters to be used as a reference by other key decision makers
- Drive decisions by focusing on financial benefits/ supply security/ other parameters of continuous improvement
- Negotiate price agreements/ contracts for execution by Director of Procurement and Supply Chain NAB
- Validate execution and compliance with each site

- Ability to work across multiple data parameters to consolidate and communicate information
