MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write and revise assembly or manufacturing instruction guides for aircraft components.
  • Interpret, verify, and approve technical drawings and other engineering documents.
  • Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
  • Design the necessary tools for manufacturing or assembly while considering established geometric tolerances.
  • Ensure harmonization and implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality, and Production.
  • Actively participate in production support by coordinating problem solving with other support departments.
  • Stay up to date with best practices to enhance manufacturing and assembly strategies and participate in research and development projects.
  • Support the Central Methods team in carrying out their projects.
  • Update the Methods documentation tree structure, conduct SAP analyses, identify needs, and optimize production.
  • Define labor, tools, assembly, layout, ergonomics, health and safety, and production equipment requirements according to optimal methodology.
  • Participate in the development and optimization of processes related to the Methods function.

DESIRED PROFILE

  • College or university diploma in Mechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanics Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Ability to read technical drawings with strong 3D visualization and analytical skills.
  • Strong mechanical logic and aptitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to work with software such as Catia, AutoCAD, Enovia, etc.
  • Able to work with ERP software such as SAP.
  • Excellent team player, persistent, with sound judgment.
  • Good command of spoken and written French, and good knowledge of English.
