Overview
Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Compact Construction Equipment for the Central Region location. This position is responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability in all areas of the Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) market, including Brandt Built Work Ready Utility Trailers.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Achieve sales goals and market share targets as agreed for the long-term success of the Compact Construction Equipment business within the assigned area of responsibility

Achieve sales goals and targets as agreed for the long-term success of the Brandt Utility Trailers business within the assigned area of responsibility
-
Provide feedback and input to both Brandt and other stakeholders into future opportunities and competitive pressures
-
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing programs as well as advertising initiatives to drive sales growth
-
Provide a focused approach to CCE sales – aid in the development and retention of Territory Managers (sales techniques, proposals, training, demonstrations, customer events)

Travel to branches to develop multi-level selling processes with end users and understand unique market challenges; ensure key accounts at each branch are identified and sales strategies are in place to achieve sales growth

Liaise with Sales Teams whenever possible to further shared goals and customer relationships

Work with the Corporate Inventory Manager to ensure appropriate inventory level is available to anticipate and satisfy sales demands
Required Skills

Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal-driven

Proven ability to build and grow sales in a team environment

Excellent verbal and written communications

Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills

Minimum of 5 years’ prior experience successfully selling related products, complemented by a minimum of 5 years’ progressive management experience

Have the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
-
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
-
Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally
-
A recent driver’s abstract will be required
