Position Summary
The Retail Food & Beverage Warehouse Supervisor is a member of the Food and Beverage team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Retail Food & Beverage Warehouse team. This includes order placement, receiving goods, order delivery and minor equipment maintenance.
This position is a casual-part-time position that will require the successful candidate to work flexible hours throughout the week and on weekends.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the safe, timely, efficient and effective shipping and receiving functions for the Food and Beverage Department, including receiving and distributing stock, ensuring that orders are correct and that products meet health and safety standards.
- Liquor Ordering – Place all Food & Beverage weekly liquor orders online in Liquor Connect and other suppliers.
- Liquor Receiving – Receive and verify all weekly liquor orders.
- Liquor Transferring – Redistribute liquor to appropriate Food & Beverage areas.
- Set Up and Tear Down – Set up Liquor Room for maximum storage and ease of inventory control.
- Supervise warehouse stock, F&B forklift drivers, and F&B maintenance teams.
- Inventory Control – Accurately account for inventory items and complete all required paperwork to department standards.
- Maintain stock of all perishable foods, non-perishable foods, beverages, and paper products.
- Organize all remaining beverage products post-Stampede for return to suppliers where possible.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be proactive, optimistic and have the ability to multi-task. They will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment where they have experience delivering on multiple priorities and will hold the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in English required (both written and spoken).
- Minimum 1 year of related warehouse experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
- High School Diploma
- Previous forklift experience is preferred. Certification will be required upon hire.
- Possess a sound work ethic, positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) is an asset.
- Must be competent in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Adequate visual acuity and colour vision are required.
- Knowledge of FoodTrak is an asset.
