Client: Insurance Firm
Job Title: Commissions Analyst Location: Remote Role in Ontario, Canada Duration: 06 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance) Pay Range: ($20 - $21) on an hourly basis.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commissions Administrator/Analyst to support the accurate processing of commission payments for insurance and investment products.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, validating, reconciling, and processing compensation data while ensuring accuracy and timely payouts.
This role requires strong analytical skills, intermediate Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Research, prepare, and maintain commission data using Excel spreadsheets.
Verify funding/deposits and reconcile commission information for accurate payment processing.
Process commission payments according to scheduled payment cycles.
Maintain accurate records of original and updated commission data.
Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies or payment holds.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve compensation-related issues.
Support cross-functional tasks and assist with departmental projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative, finance, accounting, insurance, payroll, or operations support.
Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
